About the UDC Speech and Hearing Clinic
The University of the District of Columbia (UDC) Speech and Hearing Clinic provides a variety of services for adults and children with communication needs in the DC Metropolitan area.
Our services are currently free of charge and are a part of the clinical training for students in the Speech-Language Pathology Master’s program. Services are supervised by clinical faculty who are fully licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists.
We provide hearing screenings and comprehensive audiological and speech-language evaluations to support the identification of communication disorders. We also provide intervention services that address all areas of communication including articulation/phonology, voice, stuttering, oral and written language. Individual and group sessions are available for both children and adults.
The clinic operates on an academic semester schedule and is open Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm. For more information, or to schedule an appointment, please call 202-274-6161.
