About the UDC Community College

Since opening its doors in 2009, the University of the District of Columbia Community College (UDC-CC) continuously affirms its mission to provide opportunities for students to obtain the requisite skills of today’s workforce and to prepare them for the demands of tomorrow. We offer accessible, affordable, and high-quality programs to the residents of the District of Columbia and the region. Our associate degrees, certificates, workforce development and lifelong learning programs are market-driven and learner focused. UDC-CC serves as a vital link to the intellectual, economic, civic and cultural vitality of the region.

The students at UDC-CC represent the diverse and multi-cultural population of the nation’s capital. The demographic of our Washington, DC area population includes adult learners, recent high school graduates, returning students, veterans, single parents, and English Language Learners (ELLs), and international students representing almost every country on the globe.

The University of the District of Columbia Community College (UDC-CC) is one of the colleges that make up the University of the District of Columbia (UDC). The University of the District of Columbia is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, 1007 North Orange Street, 4th Floor, MB #166, Wilmington, DE 19801 (267-284-5011). The Middle States Commission on Higher Education is an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
