Program Overview

Associate of Applied Science—Legal Assistant

Pursue a rewarding career as a legal professional, starting with an Associate of Applied Science—Legal Assistant degree from the University of the District of Columbia! Our program was designed to prepare you to launch your career in the legal field, with a curriculum built upon an intensive study of foundational legal concepts.

While pursuing your degree, our program will provide you with hands-on experience by enabling you to support attorneys and other legal professionals through your learned skills and knowledge, including research and writing, case management and court procedure. To qualify for graduation, you must complete a total of 62 credit hours while maintaining a C or better in all major courses.
